Between 2012 and 2022, a total of 78 incidents occurred in the ONP pipeline (78% due to third-party criminal acts, 15% due to geodynamic phenomena and 5% due to corrosion).
As part of the application of our Contingency Plan, we hire specialized companies to carry out spill containment, environmental evaluation and remediation work in the affected areas.
Between 2014 and 2023, a total area of 1’811,562.22 m2 have been remediated, in which approximately S/ 685,900,000 have been invested.
It should be noted that, in 2022, the ONP suffered a series of attacks that have been addressed with an approximate investment of TS/ 254,440.2.
The work we do is constantly supervised and monitored by our specialized environmental personnel, with the commitment to ensure sustainable operation and reduce possible negative impacts on the environment. Similarly, the competent authority has supervised the work carried out in the affected areas.
